　　Green Apple has won the honor of “China’s Key Cultural Export Enterprises in 2011-2012”, which is certified by Ministry of Commerce, Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Culture, General Bureau of Radio, Film and Television as well as General Administration of Press and Publication.
　　The head office of GA is located at No. 399 Qingzhuhu Road. In the past 20 years, GA has has solely invested or co-developed over 100 digital publications and large-scale database, with many awards and honors such as “National Award for Excellent Digital Publication” “Award for Outstanding Publication on Chinese Culture” and “Wang Xuan Prize for Science and Technology in Journalism”. GA’s has established a matured international sales network covering over 20 countries and regions. In May 2012, the Report on China’s Cultural Brand Development has listed 33 China’s cultural brand of 2011, among which GA is named “Cultural Brand of China’s New Business Style”, with an estimated brand value of 2.9 billion RMB.

For the purpose of promoting the Chinese culture to the world, GA has always committed to develop global market and speed up the pace of exporting cultural products and services, including various databases, e-books, e-newspapers, digitalization outsourcing and many information consulting services.  "Huawenku (Chinese Newspaper and Literature Database)" is one of GA’s key projects in cultural export, in which 10% of 4000 well-preserved newspapers from Jiaqing’s reign in Qing Dynasty to present will be selected for digitalization to create a voluminous database of historical newspapers & literature with 400 billion Chinese characters and 400 million articles. Huawenku captures the essence of Chinese newspapers and literature in the past two centuries, and also demonstrates the ideological and social changes as well as cultural development in the Chinese community during this period. GA offers readers multiple newspaper full-text information database such as Shen Bao, People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Daily, Morning Post, Minguo Daily, Rexue Daily, etc. Ever since the open of “Huawenku” in 2011, over 60 famous universities around the world have joined the project, including United Nations Library, the US Library of Congress, Japan's National Diet Library, EU Library, German National Library, British Museum, New York Public Library, and university libraries such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, Princeton, Tokyo University, etc. In 2010, GA sponsored “Seminar of International Cooperation on East Asian Literature and Digitalization of Chinese Newspapers”, with over 200 curators and scholars home and abroad. The active and positive feedbacks from the seminar have laid a solid foundation for GA’s cultural product export.
　　Besides, GA has been actively participated in various cultural activities and exhibitions, including the joint annual conference of Association for Asian Studies (AAS) and International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS), the Taiwan Inter-library Cooperative Seminar in Chinese Library and Information, Frankfurt Book Fair, US East Asia Book Fair, European Book Expo, Hong Kong International Book Fair, Beijing International Book Fair, etc. So far, GA has already had over 300 clients, including famous universities, libraries and many world’s Top 500 enterprises such as Amazon, NHN, Microsoft and Toshiba.  Today, GA has become one of the major Chinese digital content supplier and stepped into the leading position among the supplier group.
