Technical strengths:
1.An unique and well-developed production process resulted from years of experience in digitalization.
2.Database of Artistic Performances in National Theatre, Literature of Mao Zedong, People’s Daily, Encyclopedia on China’s Electric Power, Tianjin Daily and “Full Information Standard Digital Intelligent Information System” have become the most representative pieces of GA’s production, with prizes and awards such as “National Award for Excellent Digital Publication” “Award for Outstanding Publication on Chinese Culture” and “Wang Xuan Prize for Science and Technology in Journalism”. “Wang Xuan Prize”is the only prize in China for science and technology in media section and GA has won the prize for five times.
3. Able to meet the demands for production in multiple languages and various technical requirements.
4. Distinctive digitalization processing technologies and electronic platform with data management, search and categorizing functions enabling GA to produce and process large-scale database and digital publications.

Production capacity:
1. Over 32,000 sq.m. of production base, annual production capacity of 25 billion Chinese characters, GA is the largest production base for digitalization, as a leader in the industry in China.
2. Support multiple formats of database production, including e-book, e-newspaper and image library.
3. Chinese and English indexing for e-books, e-newspapers and image library: GA has finished indexing for over 40 newspapers and 20,000 books.
4. Competent graphic design that supports the layout, cover page and package design.
5. Proficiency in production technique for multiple digital formats compliant with international standards, including PDF, HTML, EPUB, GLASSBOOK, SOFTBOOK, EBOOK and APABI.
6. A strict quality control system consisting of quality control for text, scanned image, layout quality, bookmark link function, art design and product delivery system.
The accumulated resource for production has reached the amount of 20 billion Chinese characters, 20,000 pieces of audio programs, 100,000 images and 400,000 pieces of music. GA has solely invested or co-developed over 100 digital publications and obtained authorizations for distributing many important newspapers such as People’s Daily, Guangming Daily and Shun Pao, classics as Literature of Mao Zedong, Literature of Deng Xiaoping and Literature of Jiang Zemin as well as thousands of other digital publications.
Information security:
1. Employees are required to sign confidentiality agreement with the company before they came into position. GA offers staff training on information security and performs periodical check on machine to prevent potential safety hazard.
2. With licenses, permit and certificates required in the industry, including E-publication Distribution License, Software Enterprise Certificate, Certificate of Enterprises with Advanced Technology, Certificate for ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems, Certificate for Internet Content Provider as well as E-books Copying and Distribution License
3. Digital production of GA is divided into different sections and each with an information security control system to ensure product quality.
4. GA promises that the digital content in production will not be illegally copied. GA’s production is implemented in the basic unit of one person and every employee can only copy the data in his/her own computer since there’s no applicable interface for external drive. Besides, GA has not had a single breach in data management that attributes to strict regulations. The approaches of management are as follows: apply limited authority of access to data to control the channel and frequency of contact; require the personnel to delete the file in certain time after using; clearly state the time limit for data storage and penalty for unauthorized copy and leak.
5. GA makes a promise to the clients that the company will never apply the material and related information to any use besides the project or any third parties without concent from clients in advance.
6. GA offers guarantee in technical support, payment terms, on time delivery, after-sales service and training as well as newspaper protection.
Advantages in the industry:
1. Established in 1992, Green Apple Data Center is the first enterprise in China in digital publication. With the largest production base for digitalization in China, GA has more than 1,000 clients all over North America, Europe and Asia, among which there are World’s Top 500 enterprises like Microsoft, Toshiba, NHN. With head office and production base in Changsha, GA has five branch offices respectively in Hunan, Shandong, Beijing, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and the USA. As the business expands, GA intends to establish offices in South Korea, Japan, Singapore for the purpose of developing market in Asia as well as set up overseas office in the USA and Europe to radiate global clients and provide services.
