After a tour to GA’s Hall of Corporate Culture, Kurt Beidler, VP of Amazon China (right), signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Tang Wuyi, GA’s president.
　　Earlier today, Amazon, the largest international e-commerce enterprise, signed a cooperation agreement with Green Apple Data Center in Changsha, stating that GA will provide Amazon with copyright for 10,000 e-books and 4,000 public domains this year.
　　In GA’s head office in Changsha, Kurt Beidler, VP of Amazon China, signed the Amazon-GA Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Tang Wuyi, GA’s president. According to the agreement, the two parties will conduct diversified and in-depth cooperation in projects such as input of e-book content, development of thematic digital library, digitalization of public domain, production of e-periodical, technical research and support as well as development of minority language products.
　　Before this agreement, Amazon has already had over 50% of its e-books online in China coming from GA’s production. At the moment, the newly signed agreement has enhanced Amazon-GA cooperation to the level of digital content, in addition to previous CN and JP projects. To achieve this, GA will provide copyright authorization for 10,000 e-books and 4,000 public domain to Amazon. Besides, Amazon China has also set up a section in its sales platform specially for GA’s e-book products.
GA’s president, Tang Wuyi, expressed the expectation to expand cooperative area from Chinese and Japanese products to other languages like Korean and Arabic as well as promote business to the Japanese market. GA also plans to make in-depth development in the US market and increase clients in North America from 60 to 100.
